Health Disparity Index SAS Macros and Index

HDI macro to compute Health Disparity (HD) Indices and their 95% confidence intervals
PURPOSE:

This macro calculates health disparity (HD) indices (HDIs) such as Slope Inequality of Index (SII), Relative Index of Inequality (RII) -- including both RII(mean) and RII(ratio) -- Health Concentration Index (C), and their 95% CIs using Taylor series linearization (TSL) and t-statistics. The macro
can be used for both non-survey data and survey data.

prevDev macro to calculate absolute and relative measures of unweighted or weighted prevalence deviation of adverse health conditions such as caries experience

PURPOSE:
This macro calculates absolute (simple difference) and relative measures (percent difference)
in unweighted or weighted prevalence deviation, significance tests, their 95% confidence intervals (CIs), and adjusted P-values and adjusted 95% CIs for multiple comparisons by stepdown Šidák (Šidák-Holm) method.

prevDiff macro to calculate absolute and relative measures of unweighted or weighted prevalence difference of adverse health conditions such as caries experience

PURPOSE:
This macro calculates absolute (simple difference) and relative measures (percent difference)
in unweighted or weighted prevalence difference, significance tests, their 95% confidence intervals (CIs), and adjusted P-values and adjusted 95% CIs for multiple comparisons by stepdown Šidák (Šidák-Holm / Holm-Šidák) method

SidakHolmCI to correct confidence intervals for multiple comparisons by stepdown Šidák (Šidák-Holm) method

PURPOSE:
This macro calculates corrected confidence intervals for differences between group means in multiple comparisons by stepdown Šidák (Šidák-Holm) method

surveyBoot macro to generate rescaled bootstrap samples for complex surveys

PURPOSE:
This macro generates bootstrap samples using rescaled weights (Rao and Wu, 1992) for stratified cluster survey data.

surveyBootCCI macro to estimate bootstrap confidence intervals of the health concentration index (HCI or C) in complex sample surveys

PURPOSE:
After having previously called the %surveyBoot macro to generate rescaled bootstraps, this macro computes bootstrap confidence intervals (CIs) of the health concentration index (HCI or C) in complex sample surveys
