Kristin Hoeft is a Research Analyst at CAN DO, focusing on mixed methods research to understand and improve oral health for low-income, Spanish-speaking families. She is currently working on the SALTF project and participating in qualitative data collection, analysis, and writing. She joined CAN DO in 2006 and previously worked on the Hispanic Oral Health and Fluoride Varnish Reach in Early Childhood projects.
Kristin is also a PhD candidate in Epidemiology and Translational Science at UCSF, where she is supported by an NIDCR-funded training grant to write a dissertation about oral health education programs. She earned her MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education and has an undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology.
