Sarit Helman, MPH

Biography

Sarit Helman is a Clinical Trials Specialist with the Early Childhood Caries Collaborative Centers (EC4) Data Coordinating Center (DCC).  Sarit earned her Master's in Public Health (MPH) at Boston University's School of Public Health with a focus on International Health and Health Services.  Her interest in working with underserved populations led her to join the Peace Corps, where she served in the Dominican Republic as a Maternal and Child Health Volunteer.

Sarit joined CAN DO II as part of the EC4 DCC, which serves the Early Childhood Caries Collaborative Centers at the University of California San Francisco, Boston University, and the University of Colorado at Denver. She enjoys the marriage of technology and good, old-fashioned, community-based research and has been involved in creating, organizing, and maintaining the protocols for the EC4 collaborative and the Glass Ionomer Sealant & Fluoride Varnish Trial (GIFVT) and Oral Health Advocates in Public Housing (OHAPH) projects within OnCore, the online clinical trials management system.
